Dr. Donald R. Brown, Founder and President
Dr. Donald Ray Brown, Jr. is a native of Houston, Texas. He is the President/Founder of the Iowa Colony Junior Pioneers. He played football for the University of Arkansas and Prairie View A. & M. University. Dr. Brown graduated from Prairie View A. & M. University with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Some of Dr. Brown’s background includes working in the capacity of School Principal, Non-Profit Executive Director for Believe Incorporated, Inc., Leadership & Culture Training Director in the Oil & Gas Industry, teaching Master’s level coursework as an Adjunct Professor, Leading an After School Program and Owning/Operating an All-Sports Developmental League. Dr. Brown is the CEO of Brown & Associates Professional Training & Leadership Development, LLC. Dr. Brown is a loving husband to Samantha and father to four children: Zoe, Diesel, Dominic, and Kylie.

We have a dream of creating a space where youths from all walks of life can come together to learn foundational life skills through team sports. When we play, we learn compassion, commitment, logic, reasoning, collaborative and communication skills. We learn the importance of having each other's back, how to succeed with humility, how to fail with grace, and to have the gumption to get up and try again. We develop heart. We learn to express ourselves and to control ourselves, to respect ourselves, our peers, and authorities. When we play together, we get physically fit, mentally tough, and emotionally strong.
We don't just teach our athletes how to play the game. We teach them how to become the person they were meant to be, on and off the field, in uniform and out.
